Marvel Rivals Boldly Reveals its New Lady Loki Outfit
While some may call Marvel Rivals as an imitation of Overwatch, developer NetEase earns credit for discovering creative ways to engage its eager and dedicated fanbase. Introducing Lady Loki, a brand-new outfit for the existing Strategist hero Loki, providing players a comics-accurate version of the Asgardian deity.
Not Hela, But Loki
Contrary to some fan speculation, the previously teased Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Rather, it is a complete visual overhaul of Loki the character, complete with new voiceover work. Based on the official preview, Lady Loki retains all of Loki's signature abilities: his projectile attack, Deception, and Doppelgänger. The only change is her striking new look, tailored to appeal to an segment of fans more than ready to part with their Lattice.

Below is a glimpse at Lady Loki in action, accompanied by a taste of her VO, courtesy of voice actor Abby Trott. It's worth noting Trott is also the voice behind Magik in Marvel Rivals.
Her lines and onscreen presence add a new dynamic to the familiar playstyle.
A Gateway to Future Skins
Now that NetEase has opened the door with this gender-bent skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is busy considering future possibilities. Popular ideas currently range from:
- The character Gwenpool as the upcoming Deadpool.
- Thor's alter ego Jane Foster as the God of Thunder.
- Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman.
The big question is: Does NetEase have the courage to introduce less mainstream alternate versions, such as former hero Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably depend on player requests!
When to Get the Skin
The Lady Loki skin will be available in Marvel Rivals from January 1, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST until January 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST.
